New Year’s Daily Journal

Monday, 3rd January 2022

Dear J,

Hi there! One of my New Year’s resolutions is to encourage myself to write my daily journal and post it as a blogpost on my website. Please note that I will address my entries to J short for “Journal”. My journey in writing a journal started back in my secondary school days where I write almost everyday basically about how I spent my day good or bad. This idea came about weeks ago before the holidays 2021 and so I go and reminded myself that this is also a good way to keep my site updated on a regular basis since I am still paying for my subscription. This somehow gives me additional purpose and productivity in my daily life as a housewife.

Although, I am still in the middle of the day please allow me to start sharing with you how I started today. I woke up to my alarm at about 7:30AM and kept snoozing till 8:30AM, I know lazy of me to get up earlier HAHA! Oh well, my son does not go to school until this Friday so I guess I can still spoil myself with a little treat of staying a bit later in bed. Since we are now back to our normal programming (sort of) here is a checklist for today.

  • 08:45AM Laundry our bedsheets
  • 09:00AM Breakfast – Oatmeal with Banana and coffee
  • 09:00-10:30 I edited my son’s birthday video for upload on our YouTube channel
  • 10:30-11:30 Multitasking (clean, cook, write to you, and anything that hubby and son need me for)

Above is how I typically start off my day and will differ slightly daily. We do not have much plan for today so I guess I will sign off for now and hopefully remembers to write tomorrow again.

Let me wish all of us again a healthy and prosperous New Year, 2022!!!

Xoxo,

Vern
